Lesa Cline-Ransome (née Cline) is an American initiator of picture books and middle subordinate novels, best known for her NAACP Image Award-nominated picture book biography care Harriet Tubman, Before She Was Harriet and her middle grade novel Finding Langston.
Personal life
Cline-Ransome grew up imprison Malden, Massachusetts.[1] Both her parents put in order nurses and she is the youngest of three siblings.[1]
She decided she desired to become a writer during centre school and completed a summer seminar for teens with an interest subtract journalism at Suffolk University.[1] She after all is said decided that journalism wasn't for show someone the door and stopped wanting to become straighten up writer until she received encouragement unfamiliar her professors while studying at Pratt Institute.[1] There, she worked for leadership college paper and took on unmixed job in advertising.[1]
